Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information Mavero collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Owner to complete before launch. A privacy policy has to name the business that is legally responsible for the data. Supply your registered business name, business address, and a privacy contact email address, and they will replace the placeholders on this page. This is a legal requirement in most U.S. states and under the GDPR/UK GDPR if you sell to customers in Europe.

Who we are

Mavero operates this store. The legal entity responsible for your information is [business legal name — owner to supply], at [business address — owner to supply]. You can reach us about privacy at [privacy email — owner to supply] or through our contact page.

What we collect

  • Order information — your name, email address, shipping address, and what you ordered. This is collected and stored by Wix, which runs our store and checkout.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Wix and its payment providers. Mavero never sees or stores your full card number.
  • Messages — if you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you send, so we can reply.
  • Site and advertising analytics — basic information about how you found and used the site, including through advertising cookies where enabled.

Why we use it

  • To take, ship and support your order.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To understand which pages and ads work, so we can improve the store.

Who processes it for us

Wix hosts this store and processes orders, payments and form submissions on our behalf. Their handling of your data is covered by Wix’s privacy policy.

Owner to complete before launch. List every other processor you actually use — your payment provider, your shipping/fulfilment partner, your email marketing tool, and Meta if you run the Meta Pixel. Don’t list a service you don’t use, and don’t omit one you do.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies that are necessary to run the store, such as remembering what’s in your cart.

Owner to complete before launch. Once the Meta Pixel or any other advertising or analytics tag is switched on, this section must say so, explain what it tracks, and offer a way to opt out. Several U.S. state privacy laws also require a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link when advertising cookies are in use.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Contact us and we’ll action it.

Owner to complete before launch. Add the specific rights and response timeframes that apply to your customers — for example California (CCPA/CPRA) or the GDPR/UK GDPR if you ship to Europe — and how someone submits a request.

How long we keep it

Owner to complete before launch. State your retention periods for order records (often set by tax and accounting rules) and for contact-form messages.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
